64 Main Street

WIT was formed 5 years ago to address issues around welfare for the women of Crumlin and also to address the lack of local training and education.  We provide a safe and secure environment to meet and socialise with new friends and are open to all women in the Crumlin area over the age of 16.

Women in Touch

Through our partnership with a number of training organisations, for example,  The Ulster People's College and the Workers Educational Association we have been able to provide classes covering a wide range of interests such as:

  • Clait
  • Basic First Aid
  • British Sign Language
  • Child Protection
  • Colour Analysis
  • English & Maths Literacy
  • Good Relations And Conflict Management
  • My Life, My Choices
  • Women In Communication
  • Women Into Politics
  • Women's Studies

Through these partnerships we have delivered training in excess of £80,000 and we would like to thank our partners for their continued help and support.

As a voluntary organisation we depend on support from the local community, so if you can spare a few hours a week to help out in the centre or would like to find out more about our organisation or future classes please contact Anne Shortt (Treasurer) on T: 028 9445 3269 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
